Festival of Trees – San Juan County, Late November
Festival of Trees is Farmington’s largest holiday event, spanning four days and engaging tens of thousands. For many years now, Festival of Trees has brought holiday cheer and entertainment to the Farmington community. The Festival is organized by a committee of community volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that the December event is a success.
Over 50 beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces are available to view and potentially win as a part of a raffle. Trees are valued between $400 and $5,000. Many trees include supplemental gifts. It is estimated that some 10,000 people participate in the event. While general admission is free, there are several additional activities taking place throughout the festival – some of which charge admission fees. Net proceeds from Festival of Trees benefit Presbyterian Medical Services programs in San Juan County.
