I've found the creativity and spontaneity of art therapy beautifully matches the energy and openness of children. Tapping into the creative process encourages discovery of self expression, personal insight and fosters emotional well-being. It allows for a new mode of communication in therapy that can be safe, illuminating and even fun.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the Southwest with my family and goofy pug. I'm also a mixed media artist and an enthusiastic, but mediocre cook.
