Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) – Artesia Family Health Center welcomes Dr. Marissa Bender to its dental team. Dr. Bender is accepting new patients at 575-746-9848. She is fluent in Spanish and Filipino. The Center is located at 1105 Memorial Drive in Artesia and offers medical, behavioral health, and dental services.
She looks forward to “helping the community by providing the best dental care I can provide to a diverse population.” She came to New Mexico from Washington State and she is active in organized dentistry and the community.
She is a delegate to the American Dental Association, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Washington Academy of General Dentistry, and has held leadership positions in the Washington State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Snohomish County Dental Society. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her Master of Business in Health Care Administration from City University in Seattle, Washington, and her first degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of the East in Manila, Philippines.
As with all PMS federally qualified health centers, Artesia Family Health Center is not-for-profit and accredited by The Joint Commission. The Center does not turn away any patient due to lack of insurance or financial status. Payment options include Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance.
Presbyterian Medical Services is a not-for-profit organization that has been designing and delivering quality accessible integrated health, education, and human services in response to identified community needs since 1969.
