She works with both adults and children. Her experience of 26 years as a registered nurse includes emergency care, women’s services, labor and delivery, and primary care. Her passion is being able to treat the entire family, getting to know patients on a personal level to help them meet their health goals.
Aldaz earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNM and an Associate of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University-Carlsbad. Her education at UNM focused on rural and preventative care.
As with all PMS federally qualified health centers, Carlsbad Family Health Center is not-for-profit and accredited by The Joint Commission. The Center does not turn away any patient due to lack of insurance or financial status. Payment options include Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance.
