Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) – Cuba Health Center welcomes Jennifer Campbell to its behavioral health team. Campbell is a licensed Mental Health Therapist and is accepting new patients at 505-289-3291. The Center is located at 6349 U.S. Highway 550 in Cuba and offers medical, behavioral health, dental, and eye care services. She will also see patients at the Cuba School-Based Heath Center and other offices in the Checkerboard Area Health System.
“I am looking forward to being able to put my clinical skills and training to work with the population that PMS serves. I am also looking forward to being a catalyst for change in the lives of those I work with,” said Campbell when asked what she’s looking forward to in her new role.
Campbell is a member of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors and the International Associated of Trauma Professionals. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in California. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
She said that she chose to go into mental health therapy because she wanted to help people – especially children. In fact, she was “coined” for her work with the children of military families at Cannon Air Force Base.
As with all PMS federally qualified health centers, Cuba Health Center is not-for-profit and accredited by The Joint Commission. The Center does not turn away any patient due to lack of insurance or financial status. Payment options include Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance.
