Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) – Santa Fe Family Wellness Center welcomes Lauren Iversen to its behavioral health team. Iversen is fluent in Spanish and will be a full-time school-based therapist, providing mental health services to students at Santa Fe schools.
Iversen said that she is looking forward to helping students and children and also giving back to her community, as she grew up in Santa Fe. She earned her Mast of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas and her Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Sociology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
As with all PMS federally qualified health centers, Santa Fe Family Wellness Center is not-for-profit and accredited by The Joint Commission. The Center does not turn away any patient due to lack of insurance or financial status. Payment options include Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance.
