Ann Heath, MD (Medical Director)



Dr. Heath received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Colorado in Denver and her medical degree from the University of Illinois in Rockford. She completed her residency in family practice at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.


Prior to joining Presbyterian Medical Services, Dr. Heath worked for several years as a Medical Director on the Ramah Navajo Reservation in Pine Hill, New Mexico. While based in Illinois, she held numerous medical faculty positions and also served as an emergency room physician.

Dr. Heath feels a strong connection to the Presbyterian Medical Services mission of helping underserved communities. She chose the field of medicine due to her desire to help others as well as her enjoyment of the sciences. In addition to family practice, she has an interest in emergency medicine, women’s health, pediatrics and geriatrics. When not providing primary care services, Dr. Health enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, as well as her horses, dogs and cats.
