Asked why she became a family practice physician, Dr. Alfaro-Andrick replied, “A personal experience with the demise of my eldest cousin. It was a tremendous loss to the family, primarily due to medical oversight. This experience always remained and later influenced my choice of career.”
Dr. Alfaro-Andrick decided to join Presbyterian Medical Services due to its philosophy of providing needed healthcare services to underserved communities. “I also found the friendliness and sincerity of the Presbyterian Medical Services staff to be very attractive, very inviting. I look forward to working with the RRFHC staff to expand pediatric services, neonatal through adolescence.”
