Education

Dr. Smith received Bachelor’s degrees from Kenyon College in Molecular Biology and Anthropology. During this time, he also studied and worked abroad in Guatemala, Thailand, Honduras and Kenya. Dr. Smith earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona.

Biography

He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and was part of the Southern New Mexico Family Residency Program at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces prior to joining PMS.

“Family medicine is the most intimate medical specialty and gives me the amazing opportunity to provide true (pre)cradle to the grave care to those I have the honor of serving,” Dr. Smith said when asked about his career path.

On what he’s looking forward to most about his new position, Dr. Smith replied, “I’m looking forward to being a member of the awesome team in Grants. It’s truly an honor to have been welcomed into the clinic and community.”
