Ms. Barnes worked for several years as a Registered Nurse at a children’s hospital in Virginia before relocating to Kansas as a nurse practitioner providing primary care and behavioral health services.
Asked why she decided to join Presbyterian Medical Services, Ms. Barnes replied, “I was impressed with the continuity of care across the lifespan and the wholistic approach to care. The Presbyterian Medical Services mission fits nicely with my original reasons for becoming a nurse practitioner – to be more involved with helping patients make better health decisions and to have a more direct impact on the health of underserved and vulnerable populations.”
“I enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, motorcycling, bicycling, golf, tennis – basically, it it’s outdoors – sign me up!”
