Ms. Bentley is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association as well as the International Society of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurses. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University, School of Nursing, and her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington, IN. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in addition to her nursing degrees. Ms. Bentley is recipient of Indiana University’s Dart-Opie Award for Clinical Excellence in Care of the Mentally Ill. In addition, she is recipient of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Award from Indiana University.
Ms. Bentley chose FCHC, a program of Presbyterian Medical Services, as the place to serve clients for its strength in “integrated care”. Farmington Community Health Center offers behavioral health services, primary care, dental, and veteran support all under one roof at 1001 West Broadway Avenue in Farmington.
“I’m also very excited about the opportunity to serve a diverse population,” Ms. Bentley said. “I like serving clients directly and helping to teach others; mentoring and serving as a preceptor to future nurses.”
Ms. Bentley has worked in a variety of clinical settings and was Co-Director/Preceptor for the undergraduate nursing program of Indiana University.
