Michael Manzanares, DDS

Dr. Manzanares received his Doctor of Dental Surgery credentials from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico. His General Practice Residency was conducted at West Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Manzanares is a native New Mexican who grew up in the northern New Mexico enclave of Espanola, where his father was a dentist for over 30 years. His brother is also a dentist serving in Los Lunas, NM.

“I have wanted to practice dentistry since I was very young,” Dr. Manzanares said on arrival to Presbyterian Medical Services Family Health Center. “I grew up in a dental office. Seeing the impact that my father was able to have on his community inspired me.”

Dr. Manzanares speaks some Spanish in addition to English. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the New Mexico Dental Association. He “looks forward to providing quality care to children and adults.”

“I chose Presbyterian Medical Services because it presented me with an opportunity to return home to New Mexico and to work with a population that truly needs help,” he said.
