Dr. Oksana Lyubarsky received her Certificate in Psychoanalysis from New York Psychoanalytic Institute in New York, NY following almost a decade of working in the field in direct patient contact. She conducted her Residency at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center in Brooklyn, and completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the Health Science Center and State University in Brooklyn. Her medical degree was obtained from St. Petersburg State Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia, previously known as Pavlov’s First Medical Institute, Leningrad, USSR.

Biography

Prior to joining Presbyterian Medical Services, Dr. Lyubarsky was Associate Director of the Downstate Mental Health Outpatient Clinic in Brooklyn. In the many years that Dr. Lyubarsky has been in healthcare, she has worked in hospital, clinic, and institute settings, and has also held various teaching positions. When in medicine, she served as an Internist in several posts in Leningrad.

Dr. Lyubarsky is a member of the American Psychiatric Association; the New Mexico Psychoanalytic Society, and the New Mexico Psychiatric Association.
