About Lora

I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology/Ethnographic Anthropology from the UNM focusing on Developmental Psychology. I then earned a masters for Marriage & Family Therapy from University of Phoenix. I have furthered my education in various therapeutic techniques by regularly attending classes in college age related issues, substance abuse, trauma, traumatic brain injury, cultural and specialty populations, military including MST, couples and family therapy. I am trained in EMDR, CPT, STAIR, and PE for core trauma treatments and various models for mood and emotional regulation. I was trained by the Matrix institute in the Matrix model and in various other substance abuse and co-occurring models. I have worked for the US Army over seas and come from a military family so understand the unique challenges military members, veterans and family members face both through the deployment cycle and after separation.
