About Martha

I am a native of Northern New Mexico of Spanish and Tewa Native American heritage with a ranching background. I graduated from High School in Clayton, NM. I am a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM. I hold an AA in Psychology, a BA in Psychology, and a Master of Social Work. I enjoy mentoring and supervising college students in their practicum. My experience in community building, directing poverty programs, and teaching life skills on the Eastern Plains and Northern New Mexico spans more than 40 years.

I am a mother of 2 adult children. My son and daughter inlaw live in Albuquerque and my daughter lives in Tucumcari. My interests include quilting, reading Tony Hilerman, watching TV drama, and spending time with my family.
