About Jay
Jay Trujillo is a Mental Health Therapist for children and a dedicated clinical social worker with a passion for supporting children and families. He began his career in 2018 as a Registered Behavior Technician in the field of Human Services and has since gained experience in grief support for children and families, school-based social work, and behavioral health therapy in a clinical setting. With about three years as a clinical social worker, Jay brings compassion and expertise to his work at Santa Fe Family Health Center, where he provides mental health therapy and wellness services in both school-based programs and the clinic setting. His goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where every child and family feels heard, understood, and empowered.

Jay’s areas of interest include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and grief work. He is passionate about helping children and families build resilience and find healing through creative and practical strategies.
