About Julastene
I moved to the Santa Fe area in 2014 by way of Colorado, D.C., and Alaska. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, a doctorate in dental surgery (D.D.S.) from Howard University College of Dentistry, and a dental residency (A.E.G.D.) certificate from the University of New Mexico. In addition to working full-time as a clinician and dental director, I am also a student in the Masters of Public Health Program at A.T. Still University and clinical preceptor at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
I was named the New Mexico “Dental Provider of the Year” by the Primary Care Association in 2017. I am delighted to confer my clinical expertise and dedication to community health dentistry to my patients in the Village of Pecos and surrounding areas.
My passions include oral health, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and being in the outdoors.
