Rose Anna Nelson, LPCC

I am local to Cibola county and have lived here my whole life. I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years. I started out as a behavioral management specialist, transitioned to a community support worker, eventually becoming a mental health therapist. I have obtained experience in treating individuals and families dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, impulsivity, and substance abuse issues etc. My purpose is to invest positively into people's lives, foster hope where there is none, hear those who have been silenced, and make people feel valued and worthy of healing.

I enjoy working with teens, adults, groups, and families. Some approaches I am more inclined to use include:

• motivational interviewing
• person centered therapy.
