About Tara
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience working with youth and their families as a school social worker and working with adults living with HIV as a clinical social worker. Additionally, I have extensive experience as a medical social worker, which informs my work as a therapist, and I view mental health as inseparable from overall health. I use a strength-based, humanistic approach and value play and creativity to help my clients express themselves and get to know themselves. I believe my client is the expert in their life and that I am here to assist them in becoming more fully aware of themselves by providing a safe space for growth and exploration. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, playing board games, hiking and paddleboarding.
