About Wendy
With 25+ years of experience in the behavioral health field, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Supervisor, and National Certified Counselor (NCC). My work has involved supporting individuals with a wide range of experiences and needs, and I understand that seeking support can feel like a significant step. Creating a space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and able to be themselves is central to how I approach this work.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing and is shaped by both clinical training and evidenced based practices. I have worked with individuals navigating a variety of personal and life challenges, and bring a thoughtful, real-world perspective to helping people move forward. I have also held management and leadership roles across several organizations, which help me work closely with other providers and systems to support care that feels connected and consistent.
I work collaboratively with clients to understand what they are going through and support them in moving forward. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), and Chi Sigma Iota, reflecting an ongoing commitment to high standards of care and continued professional growth. My goal is to help each person make lasting, meaningful progress.
