Wyatt's Story

Wyatt has been with Roundtree since he was born. He had a great team that included a Developmental Specialist, Occupational and Physical Therapy as well as the NM School of the Deaf (NMSD) - it was such a nice experience! When Wyatt was a baby he had torticollis. With the help of his team, within a week he was able to move his head more. He also had a hearing impairment and we worked with NMSD to help him learn sign language and develop his speech.
Living on the reservation, we have very limited resources, but we got a lot of support and services from our Roundtree team. We both work and since they can come to our home to provide services, it was pretty neat! Wyatt is now going to be three years old and we are thankful for the support that Roundtree gave us!
